How to sign up
Create a Philia account
Go to philia.club and create an account with your email. You'll receive a magic link (no password needed).
Register your venue
Go to philia.club/venues/new, or open the menu (☰) and tap "Become a Philia Place". Search for your address, confirm your venue name and enter your contact details (name, email, role).
Wait for approval
The Philia team reviews each request manually. Typical delay: 24-48h.
Customize your profile
Once approved, add your logo, a photo of your venue and a short bio (280 characters max).
How it works after that
A user opens a "door" — they pick an article or book, ask a discussion question and choose a venue.
Your venue appears in nearby suggestions.
Other users discover the door and ask to join.
When 3+ people are confirmed, the meetup takes place at your venue.
Upcoming meetups show on your profile page.
Tips for hosting well
No need to reserve a room — groups are small and sit like regular customers.
A calm atmosphere is a plus — discussions are about readings.
A small "Philia Place" sticker at the entrance helps participants find you.
No Wi-Fi needed — meetups are in person, not online.

No. Registering as a Philia Place is completely free.
Do I need to organize the meetups?
No. Users organize everything themselves. You just welcome customers as usual.
Can I remove my venue?
Yes. Contact us at any time to remove your venue.
Can multiple people manage the profile?
For now, one account is linked to each venue. Choose the person who will manage the profile (owner or manager).
